CCURB Idea Maelstrom

  • Water conservation – low flow showerheads, faucet aerators
  • Green energy source – solar panels, PV, small scale wind turbine
  • Transportation alternatives – bicycles, RIPTA campaign, rideshare, electric cars
  • Weatherization – caulk, weatherstripping, insulation, roofing, windows
  • Appliance Replacements – or heating/cooling improvements
  • Big Polluters – changing practices at power plants, train stations, sewage treatment facilities
  • Behavioral Changes – power strips, conservation, tire inflation
  • Waste Reduction – double-sided printing, composting
