BTB in action: So awesome, it distorts light.

Beyond The Bottles? Awww, yea. You know you want that BUDS meeting report, that national coke week of action, that BUCC prep, and that movie action. You do. Don’t lie. Bottle it and sling straight gold!

1.     Intros

2.     Steering Committee

3.     We have a website! www.beyondthebottle.org (it’s not up yet, though)

4.     Report from the BUDS Meeting – Ben/Devin

a.     Met with Peter Rossi and Joe Barboza, got some statistics; talked about filtration systems, getting pilot program up again in Jo’s and the Gate and possibly other locations. Recommendations are welcome.

i.     Jason – can we collaborate with RISD to get their filtration system?

5.     National Coke Week of Action, segway into…

6.     Tabling at JWW – Sign-ups

a.     Volunteers to print: brochures, pledges, sign-up sheets

7.     Admin group

a.     BUCC

i.     Review Ambika’s sheet

ii.     Come up with our specific ask

iii.     Presenters? What will our presentation be?

8.     Student group

a.     Movie Screening

i.     Decide on movie (Tapped or FLOW)?

ii.     If Tapped, fundraising – Jason

iii.     Outreach to other student groups (for funding and/or publicity/cosponsorship)

iv.     Publicity – Matt will do poster, Madeleine will coordinate tableslipping

b.     JWW tabling

i.     Volunteer to make the pledge sheet – Matt and Paige

ii.     Materials needed: water, cups, brochures

iii.     Look over survey together

iv.     Volunteers to print survey/pledge sheet (engineers?)

c.     Coke Week of Action

i.     Anyone want to take the lead on planning this?

ii.     Decide dates and times when many of us can be present.

d.     Art competition – going to let go of it for now, postpone til spring (if we still need to be having events in the spring!)
